Check out Alexis and Russel and their Redfish Lake Elopement. I WANT TO TALK ABOUT the dog. Her name is Hazel, but is fondly refered to officially as Tater Tot. Tater Tot is a sweetheart, and a very loved member of the Alexis and Russel family. After Alexis and Russel finished their vows, Russel called Tater Tot over to them (the Officiant John was holding her leash at the moment to free up their hands) and got down on one knee. He then proceeded to share his vows to Tater Tot, and they were BEAUTIFUL! Russel gave me a copy of his vows to Hazel/Tater Tot so I could share them with you all!

Never have I met a dog quite like you! So well behaved and a friend to everyone around you. When Mom is down, I ask you to take care of her, and I know she is in good hands. You’re always there to comfort me whem I’m down and get me back on my feet. I promise to throw your ball as fas as possible, and to give you a lot of treats. We’ll keep that a secret from Mom. Daddy loves you so much and thank you for being there for us”
I love that, it felt like a new step parent making promises to their new step children, it was a beautiful moment. During the doggy vows Hazel/Tater Tot laid on the ground and enjoyed some vigorous tummy scratches. Such a good, sweet girl. On that note,
