As a wedding photographer, it’s a privilege and an honor to witness such special moments. I’m consistently blown away at the love and joy I get to witness at each wedding I photograph. Jessie and Zach’s wedding at Brighton Resort was a beautiful example of love deeply rooted in shared passions, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from their day.
Growing up in Minnesota, Jessie and Zach have been together since middle school. Their love for the outdoors is woven into the fabric of their relationship—Jessie’s compassion for animals and Zach’s enthusiasm for hunting perfectly complement each other. (Which seems contradictory, but it isn’t at all!) When they chose a Brighton Resort wedding, nestled in the Wasatch Mountains, it was the perfect backdrop for their special day.
One of my favorite moments to capture is the “first look,” and Jessie and Zach chose a spot by small stream (complete with small fish that Zach noticed as he was waiting for Jessie) for this intimate encounter. First looks are a great way to share an intimage moment, and can even take the pressure off of the big moments of walking down the aisle.
The reception was a blast. Jessie and Zach went all out for dinner, some of the dishes included local Utah products, such as Elk, Trout and some of the best Sou Vide Duck with Goat Cheese polenta blackberry reduction. IT WAS SO GOOD! Bravo to their menu selection and to the amazing staff at the Mille Chalet that provided the meal.
Reflecting on the day, it was an absolute joy to be a part of such a special day. Their Brighton Resort wedding was beautiful. And it didn’t end with the ceremony and dinner, Jessie, Zach and all their guests absolutely threw down on the dance floor. Some awesome glasses got passed from guest to guest for some fun pictures, I couldn’t help but dance along myself.
To Jessie and Zach, thank you for letting me be part of your magical day. Your love for each other is truly inspiring, and I’m honored to have captured it through my lens. Here’s to many more adventures together!
